We pride ourselves on being the only luxury, crate-free cat and small pet boarding and grooming facility in Michiana. While boarding at our tropical 7,000 square foot facility, your cat will enjoy their own personal rooms with great views such as live birds and fish. There are live plants throughout the facility and an Ozonator to keep the air fresh and clean. We have two large playrooms available with wall and tree climbing, fish tanks, electronic toys, and plenty of comfy spots. Will let your cat have extra exercise and enjoyment. Our staff is small, so only a few employees will interact with your cat at The Cat's Meow, helping your cat adjust quickly to their caretakers. One-on-one time is spent with all cats—so we get to know your pet. You'll receive pictures of your cat via email regularly, so you don't have to worry so much! Meet Maggie
Maggie Kollars, owner of The Cat’s Meow, has spent more than 30 years in the pet industry and is widely known for her deep understanding and genuine love of cats and small pets. With experience spanning cat-only veterinary care, hands-on work with both cats and dogs, and decades dedicated exclusively to feline-focused environments, Maggie truly knows a cat inside and out. Her ability to read feline body language and recognize signs of stress allows her to ensure every guest feels safe, calm, and cared for.

Maggie’s goal is to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where cats can feel at home—whether they’re staying for a few days or for an extended visit. Her thoughtful, compassionate approach helps make The Cat’s Meow a trusted, comforting place for both pets and their owners.
Meet Samantha
Samantha Ditmer was personally trained by Maggie Kollars, the owner of The Cat’s Meow and a cat-grooming expert with more than 20 years of experience. After several years of hands-on grooming, Samantha has become known in the community for her patient, thoughtful, and conscientious approach. She has a natural ability to read a cat’s body language, allowing her to create a calm, safe, and stress-free experience for every feline she works with.
